Date: May 04, 2026

An awareness programme on Soil Health Management and Balanced Fertilizer Use was organized by ICAR-CIRCOT on 4th May 2026 at its MGMG-adopted village Mandavi, Kalmeshwar (Nagpur). The programme emphasized improving soil health through effective crop residue management. Farmers were sensitized to value addition from cotton by-products using practical technologies such as pellet making, briquetting, biochar production, and composting, highlighting their potential for additional income generation, waste minimization, and improved soil and environmental health. A total of 25 farmers participated in the programme.
